I followed this recipe to make a side dish for dinner last night. I followed the advice of a reviewer and added 1/2 tsp of cumin and 1/2 tsp coriander to give it a little more kick. Everyone in my family enjoyed it, including my 15-month-old son!
Quinoa can be prepared in so many different ways (even like oatmeal for breakfast!), and it helps those of us who LOVE carbs get our “grain/pasta” fix without doing so much damage to our eating plan. On top of all those benefits, it’s simply a nice change of pace to try something new!
